Description
This 1929 Nash is very typical of the rum-runner car during the Nova Scotia Prohibition years of 1927-1935. When the back seat was removed this vehicle could carry a lot of contraband. The 20 inch tires were capable of crossing rivers, managing deep snow and short cuts through back woods roads.
The particular Nash spent its entire life at the Parrsboro to Truro shores and was donated to the Ottawa House Museum in Parrsboro, Nova Scotia, Canada.
