Description
A replica of the 1889 white, wooden, pepper-shaker-style lighthouse sits at the end of the wharf at Belliveau Cove with lobster boats waiting out the low tide. The cove is coastal village located in the Municipality of Clare, an Acadian region in Nova Scotia and experiences the majestic Bay of Fundy tides; when the tide is out, the beach is a popular clamming area.
The cove was a major centre of wooden shipbuilding in the 19th and early 20th century. "County of Yarmouth", the second largest wooden ship ever constructed in Canada, was built at Belliveau Cove in 1884.

nicely composed with the boats pointing the way along the line of the wooden pilings (if that's the proper name.) Good use of the blues in the foreground water, the boat, and the sky. well done, Jurgen
