Description
The interior of the First Presbyterian Church in Buffalo, New York, was built in the Byzantine Revival style in 1812. In the upper half of the chancel above the wood carving appear eleven small arches supported by double marble columns. The church was the first organized religious body formed in what was then the western frontier of New York State.
