Description
These grain elevators, an old school house, a barn, some deteriorating buildings and a box car is all that's left of the town of Griffin, North Dakota. It is situated north of the Milwaukee Railroad tracks that run parallel to the highway. This one-time community was more of a business venture than a town and never had many residents. It did have some of the biggest stockyards in the county, along with several grain elevators, a depot, a school house and a couple of section houses for the railroad workers.
