Description
Heceta Head Light is a lighthouse on the Oregon Coast 13 miles north of Florence. It is located at Heceta Head Lighthouse State Scenic Viewpoint, a state park, midway up a 205-foot-tall headland.
The lighthouse (still a working light today) and keeper's home were built ca.1894. From a height of 205 feet above the ocean, its “first order” Fresnel lens, casts it’s beams some 21 miles out to sea. It is the brightest light on the Oregon coast.

What a beautiful lighthouse shot Jurgen! I'm going to Maine in a few days and can't wait to take some pics!

One of my favorite lighthouses, and what a great shot you got of it Jurgen. I also like how you waited to trip your camera shutter until the fresnel light came around in the lighting position. Great work Jurgen!
