Description
I photographed this Hooded Warbler, Wilsonia citrina, in a garden in Summers County, West Virginia. Hooded Warblers are common in most leafy woodlands of the Southeast. They usually stay low in in the shadowy understory, foraging in bushes and nesting close to the ground.
