Product Details

The Center for Disease Control has recommended the use of cloth face masks to help fight the spread of COVID-19.

This face mask is made from 100% polyester and includes two ear loops with adjustable grommets for a comfortable fit.

The printed area of the mask is approximately 7" wide by 5" tall.   This mask fits well on adult mens' faces without the grommets but, due to the adjustable grommets, can be worn snuggly by adult women, as well.

Please note - this is NOT a surgical grade mask. It is not intended for any medical or commercial uses, whatsoever. It is a simple, cloth mask designed for everyday use to cover your mouth when out in public. The mask should not be used in any medical or surgical setting.

We make no warranties that the mask prevents infections or the transmission of viruses or diseases.

Artist's Description

Jorge Gonzalez Camarena (1908- 1980) was a prominent painter, muralist and sculptor.
He wanted to recreate the Diptych Mural of Life (1941) from the Guardiola building at the Bank of Mexico, removed and destroyed after the earthquake of 1957.
In this case, however, he preferred to execute a composition in three evolutionary sections that reflect a plastic interpretation of the history of Mexico. The first refers to slavery:
it questions post revolutionary agrarian policies through the presence of an anonymous peasant who lies inside a coffin and a naked female figure, covered with tattoos on his back, signs of prejudice and prohibitions. In the second, the act of liberation takes place: several men are stripped of their attachments representing the whole of humanity. In the last section, the mestiza woman who holds a seed of corn, symbol of wisdom and life, is finally directed to spiritual liberation. The mural "Liberation" was inaugurated in July of 1963. It is on permanent...

About Jurgen Lorenzen

Jurgen Lorenzen

Photography, to me, involves seeing the light and capturing the moment: the colorful illumination in the sky just before sunrise; bright sunlight dancing on the bubbling current, the glint in the eye of a mockingbird, soft reflected light caressing the face of a child, the dynamic reflection of the setting sun on the beach. As a photographer, I use my camera to share with others my vision of the world. I have been making photographs for as long as I can remember. From images of nature and my surroundings growing up in northern Germany, to photo-journalism in Hamburg, Germany. I always gravitated toward a career in photography. Immigrating to the United States in the 1970s, I built a reputation in portrait photography, and ran a...
