Description
The incredible Painted Redstart, a specialty of the southwestern mountains, is perhaps the most beautiful of the warblers. Painted Redstarts built their nests on the ground, on steep hillsides in pine-oak woods. I photographed this individual at Cave Creek Canyon in the Chiricahua Mountains near Portal, Arizona.

Congrats of the sale of this lovely bird on its perch, Jurgen. It looks like it tangled with someone with a brush filled with red paint!!! f/l
