Description
This is the ruin of the Chateau de la Ferte-Vidame castle that was built in the 14th-17th century to house the vidame (viceroy or lord) of this northern French region of La Ferte-Arnault in the central Loire valley. It's owner was beheaded during the French revolution. It is now a public park.
