Description
This is the monochrome, infrared composition of the Romanesque Saint-Laurent chapel.
It was built around the year 1000 in the Carolingian architectural style as a parish church for the village of Jonquières Saint Vincent, located about 16 Kilometers east of the city of Nimes in France.
After the hamlet where the chapel was located was abandoned, it fell into disrepair over time. Nevertheless, restorations were made to it again and again.
The cross of the former cemetery is located in the immediate vicinity of the chapel and is shown in my color composition.
