Description
The Saint-Laurent chapel was built around the year 1000 in the Carolingian architectural style as a parish church for the village of Jonquières Saint Vincent, located about 16 Kilometers east of the city of Nimes in France.
After the hamlet where the chapel was located was abandoned, it fell into disrepair over time. Nevertheless, restorations were made to it again and again and today the interior of the chapel can be viewed by guided tours.
The cross in the foreground marks the location of the former cemetery.

I may be revisiting because I have liked this so much for a while, now. I love this building. So unique and well captured.
