Description
This scene with its leading lines and beautiful gray tones caught my eye in downtown Breaux Bridge, Louisiana. I composed it as a strong vertical composition accentuating those beautiful lines.
Breaux Bridge is a small city in St. Martin Parish, Louisiana, United States. It is part of the Lafayette Metropolitan Statistical Area.

You have a keen eye for photography. This image is a tell-all about the season. Were you ever able to go back and catch the vines in bloom in another season?

The wood door, missing siding and overgrowth all combine with the spiral staircase to provide a collective symbol for the passage of time. Great work. F/L

You saw and captured so well this gathering of lines -- straight ones in all directions and gracefully curved ones -- both natural and man-made. The strong vertical in monochrome works perfectly to tie them all together in a remarkable way. Congratulations, Jurgen! l/f
