Wrights Lake is in the Sierra Nevada mountain range, west of Lake Tahoe on the western border of the Desolation Wilderness. With an elevation of 7000 feet, Wrights Lake is a beautiful recreation area located in Eldorado County, California. In addition to camping, hiking and kayaking, Wrights lake offers stunning landscapes of clear water, the timber belt and the rocky peaks of the Sierra Nevada mountains.
