Description
One of my favorite state parks in Florida is Lake Kissimmee State Park. I created this haunting image with live oak trees, palmetto palms and Spanish moss in an oak hammock near the so called Cow Camp. Hammock is a term used in the southeastern United States for stands of trees, usually hardwood, that form an ecological island in a contrasting ecosystem.
Lake Kissimmee State Park is located in Polk County on the shores of lakes Kissimmee, Tiger and Rosalie.

Striking visual Jurgen! Looks like a lovely tropical scene right out of a film noir movie!

It is a gorgeous tree, but I don't see the reference to a hammock. Is the tree called a hammock?
