Description
The Cathedral Notre Dame de Bayeaux in Normandy is one of the most beautiful examples of early Norman Romanesque and French Gothic architecture. Shown here is a view of the choir with its famous ironwork from the 14th century. Most notable are the fluted columns, pointed arches (Gothic), and delicate quadrapartite ribbed vaulting.
